What is Reiki?

Reiki is a gentle and safe type of energy healing treatment that helps you relax and balances your energy systems. It can improve your overall wellbeing, reduce emotional stress and tension.
This energy healing technique originated in Japan and the word translates to 'Universal life force' which is believed to flow through all living things.

What to expect?

You will be fully clothed lying on your back cocooned with warm blankets.

Starting at the crown of the head I will work intuitively and either place or hover my hands in respectful positions on the body working alongside your chakras.

Each hand position will be held for around 3-5 minutes.

Every session and person is unique, it is normal to see colours, feel heat or coolness, tingling and sometimes nothing.
At the end of the treatment  we can discuss anything that came up for you, I sometimes receive channeled messages and guidance.

I work with incense, sage & palo Santo to clear any dense energy. If you would prefer me not to use these please let me know prior to booking.

Aftercare advice

After receiving reiki it is recommended to drink plenty of water, rest where possible, journal anything that came up, eat nourishing foods and spend time in nature.
